CAJP 2020 Annual Conference – Virtual

Our conference this year will be a one-day virtual event, on Saturday, October 10. It will be a webinar format from roughly 9 am to 5 pm. We have a list of great speakers, including:

1) The Hon. Ronald Sargis, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Eastern District of California, speaking on FDCPA issues, especially as they overlay bankruptcy issues.

2) Tony Klein, one of the premier RPSs in this state, who also runs the Process Servers Institute. He'll discuss issues like how to spot a bad service, how to get the best results from your process servers, top ten mistakes people make in working with a process server, and even whether you should consider becoming a process server yourself.

3) Jay Adkisson, Esq. Jay has been sued for close to $5 billion in the aggregate over the years by debtors, and has some great war stories. He'll discuss uses of Anti-SLAPP laws to defend yourself.

4) Sanath Fernando (a tech guru) and our own Rich Evanns will discuss how to make our websites generate more business through Google Adwords, Search Engine Optimization, and other techniques.

5) Panel discussion by some of the busiest JEs out there on how to deal with Sheriffs and courts in these challenging times.

6) Jonathan Stein, Esq. (a debtor's-side lawyer) on "The Top 10 Ways that Judgment Enforcers get sued."

(Program content is subject to change.)

We are trying hard to have content that is relevant both for beginners in the industry as well as more advanced members. And the good news is that the full day's worth of education will be only $99! until midnight Sunday, October 4. After that, price goes up to $129 until the day of the conference.

Plus -- No transportation expenses. No hotel expenses. You can participate in your 'jammies, if you want. We are also looking at ways to facilitate online networking discussions after the conference is over.

Your login ID will be emailed to you approximately 1 week in advance.
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
